Pacific Standard Time sets us apart.
With a creative current running through it and a mix of cultural and environmental influences unlike any other place, California shapes and informs ideas distinctly, uniquely, and from the ground up. Pacific Standard Time is a collection of three styles, Chronologies™, Lot 45™, and Now/Then™.
Inspired by continuity, things blended and finely detailed, Chronologies mixes an earthy authenticity with pure minimalism and a dash of surprising texture.
Lot 45 plots the interconnectedness of moments in time. The name is an homage to Bentley’s history of design. Just as contemporary artists and designers assemble seemingly disparate things, old and new, to uncover fresh compositions, we see a future taking notes from the past and the present.
With broken and interlocking lines, Now/Then visually attaches to what it means to be modern. Modern, defined as a specific 20th century movement characterized by a break with convention, is often used to express “of the moment.” To be modern speaks to the living timeline of design.
